Abhay Wadhwa Speaks Today at the PLDC 2019 Conference in Rotterdam, 10/24/19

Join Us at PLDC 2019!

Abhay Wadhwa, Design Principal & CEO at AWA Lighting Designers will be speaking today, October 24, 2019, during the opening day of the Professional Lighting Design Convention (PLDC) in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

He will speak at 5:45 pm. He will be speaking on “Lighting Design in Remote Areas: Approaches and Solutions.” This talk will examine the paradigm shift that must occur for the designer to cope with project conditions in certain parts of the world. How do you approach lighting design when you are not given your standard tools and settings? Many projects from different countries will be used to illustrate these points. The talk will be an eye-opener and a must for international practitioners who are not comfortable with just being local and want to expand their creativity by engaging with the world.

AWA Senior Associate Justin Moench will also be participating in the conference. He has been selected to moderate the 2019 Challenge talks happening on Saturday, October 26, 2019. This is a competition held as part of the conference for the best young, inspired presenters, the lighting professionals of tomorrow.

We hope to see many of you at the conference this week! Please drop us a line if you plan to attend, and we would love to say hello.
