0-10V dimming control applies a voltage between 0 and 10 volts to produce a varying intensity level of light. It can also provide the opportunity to control the light level of any light, group of lights, or all lights to assist in syncing users’ circadian rhythms and reduce energy.
Problem: Not all dimming control systems can be translated by the driver into the appropriate lighting state that’s required. Sometimes the driver can not cope with the demands of the system, and that can lead to some very poor color and dimming effects. Other inconveniences that can affect patients’ health include flicker, flashing, stutter dimming or insufficient dimming . The design and build quality of the LED driver can lead to poor performance and failure of the LED or 0-10V dimming control.
