PERSONAL INTERVENTION FOR BETTER LIGHTING HEALTH
We spend most of our time inside, overexposing ourselves to electric lights. Individuals do not have the accessibility to measuring their exposure to electric lighting and lack of daylight. There is also an absence of opportunities for individuals to be able to meditate while out in public
Problem: Common household and office lights can trigger agitation, stress, and anxiety in individuals.
Possible Solutions:
- Provide lighted spaces that allow employees to privately manage one’s own mental health or stress at work or other mental health issues in public situations
- Use AWA proprietary specifications using visual cues to promote a less stressful environment
